My Review

I have loved this series right from the very first book, which I read many years ago. I got that first book around 2006 free with a book club membership and the story stayed with me.
So then I was looking for a new series to read, when I got back into reading a couple of years ago, I went in to a major book store and I said this.... ' I read this book and it had a witch a vampire and a pixie and I think the pixie's name was Jenks.' As soon as I said Jenks I was taken to the Hallows books, because as everybody who read these books knows Jenks is the star!!

Anyway.. I have had this book a while a little scared to read it as most of the series I have read get to book 10 and bomb. How relieved was I to start reading this one and find I am back with old friends who are as strong and brilliant as ever. This book is very much about Rachel accepting who she is and that she can move on with her life and it be a good one. I really liked that she and Tent seem to be getting on, it does feel as this book is their chance to find a working relationship and for Rachel to see that she has friends in other places besides home. It will be interesting to see where her friendship with Trent will go because they make a really good team. I am looking forward to the next book just to see where the Trent/Rachel thing will go!!
