The Blurb
Having narrowly averted an (under)World War, Cat Crawfield wants nothing more than a little downtime with her vampire husband, Bones. Unfortunately, her gift from New Orleans's voodoo queen just keeps on giving - leading to a personal favor that sends them into battle once again, this time against a villainous spirit.

Centuries ago, Heinrich Kramer was a witch hunter. Now, every All Hallows Eve, he take physical form to torture innocent women before burning them alive. This year, however, a determined Cat and Bones must risk all to send him back to the other side of eternity - forever. But one wrong step and they'll be digging their own graves.

My review
I LOVED LOVED LOVED this book!! The series is one of my very favourites and I really look forward to each and every book that comes out. I was not disappointed with this one and I am excited that things were left wide open for the next book. I got to see some of my favourite characters in this one like spade and Ian, I didn't want this one to end because I wanted to know the answers to everything but the next book should be very good as I hope we will find out what is up with Uncle Dons replacement.

The bad guy in this book was fab and I felt connected to him because I studies the Malleus Maleficarum many year ago when I studied Witch Craft or Wicca So I have to say I loved what happened to him and felt he was depicted quite accurately for how I saw him in my imagination. You don't have to read the book prior to this one to get all the plot points but I would encourage you to do so as this one has not all the humour that is in the first few and I think this one is darker but because I know the history I understand why it is a little darker now and I think if this was the first one you had read of cat and Bones I think you might find her maudlin and that wouldn't be fair because Cat is really very funny, well I think so!!
The Blurb
I was so surprised by this book, I thought it was be a bit cheesy and a bit of a romp in the sand. What I got was a smart funny story that took me on a journey around Tunisia that was also a sexy romp in the sand. I loved Liam he was strong and sexy but was not with out a gentle side and Aidan was a real surprise. I loved that he was intelligent and resourceful and that Liam took his ideas and ran with them was great. I will be honest I don't think I will be reading more of this series just because I loved this one and don't want to spoil my experience. I will add a word of warning... this book takes you on a very vivid journey around Tunisia and now I am desperate to go back there.. so be warned you will want to visit the travel agents after reading
The Blurb
In this exciting paranormal erotic romance, a dominant schoolteacher with a serious role-play fetish finds the perfect submissive in an infamous vampire lover.

Cerise Norrell, Type A substitute teacher by day, is ready to quit being a domme. Despite her best intentions, none of her partners can keep up with her scene fetish and attention to detail—let alone her demand that they have a costume and set waiting every afternoon by the time she’s home from school.

Over a dozen potential subs have left her in the past year, but just when Cerise thinks it’s impossible—that she’ll have to go back to vanilla relationships, or be alone forever—she meets William, who wants to make all her fantasies come true. He turns her home into a geisha’s dream apartment, a concert hall with a grand piano (which he uses to play an original composition while wearing a tuxedo), and even rents an abandoned loft for a zombie apocalypse scene—complete with canned goods.
But there’s something strange about William. Well, a lot of strange things. He must be absurdly rich, since he can afford to provide extravagant costumes and props on a daily basis without having to leave work early. He must be insane, since he puts up with Cerise’s over-the-top demands. And most importantly, he doesn’t redden when he’s spanked, and his skin is as cool as satin sheets. When Cerise discovers she’s become dome to the infamous “Chilly Willy,” as he’s known throughout the BDSM urban lore, she begins to find out there’s a whole lot more to her handsome submissive than a creative mind and a hard body.

And when it’s William, ironically, who starts pressing Cerise to give him the kind of commitment she’s never given anyone, it’ll take everything she has to work through her issues, confront her past, and learn to be vulnerable.

My Review
I really enjoyed this story, it was a beautiful and hot tale of 2 people learning to trust and getting over their baggage. I think what I liked the most was that William being a vampire was a non issue it was all about who he and Cerise were and the people they wanted to be. This was a complex and interesting journey they both took each other on. I did spend a lot of the last half of the book waiting for the other shoe to drop as they were just too happy and when it did I felt my heart twist but they way it was resolved was not only satisfying but realistic. I will so be reading more from this author and soon.
The Blurb
Qhuinn, son of no one, is used to being on his own. Disavowed from his bloodline, shunned by the aristocracy, he has finally found an identity as one of the most brutal fighters in the war against the Lessening Society. But his life is not complete. Even as the prospect of having a family of his own seems to be within reach, he is empty on the inside, his heart given to another....

Blay, after years of unrequited love, has moved on from his feelings for Qhuinn. And it’s about time: The male has found his perfect match in a Chosen female, and they are going to have a young—just as Qhuinn has always wanted for himself. It’s hard to see the new couple together, but building your life around a pipe dream is just a heartbreak waiting to happen. As he’s learned firsthand.

Fate seems to have taken these vampire soldiers in different directions... but as the battle over the race’s throne intensifies, and new players on the scene in Caldwell create mortal danger for the Brotherhood, Qhuinn finally learns the true definition of courage, and two hearts who are meant to be together... finally become one.
My Review
OMG I have waited so long for this one!!!!!!!

And I have to say I am disappointed...The story had so many threads that I got bored of all the jumping around I wanted to know about Quinn and Blay but I really didn't care about the rest. In the end I skipped whole sections of the book.

I am am massive fan of M/M romance so I was stoked and really hoped that J R Wards romance style would translate to the same sex relationship and it just didn't. The sex was hurried and violent there was no foreplay or even care, it begs the question as to whether the author did any research into the mechanics of a M/M sexual relationship. The re were so nice emotional moments between Blay and Quinn but had the intimate relationship been as good the story would been 100% better I think Trez and I.am thing should have been in a separate book it just cluttered this one! I have to say I fear this series is running out of steam and I just hope J R Ward can breathe some life back in it but I doubt it!
My Review
Oh dear I was so looking forward to this book. I am a massive Lora Leigh fan and have read the first 3 books. But This one just went out on a limb to far, and pushed reader suspension of disbelief too far. You need to have read all three books to get even the first few chapters of this one but it just kept throwing new twists and turns that just had me shouting at my Kobo "oh come on" more then once. In the end I gave up as I ended up just not giving a damn and not finishing it. Now I know that Lora Leigh can carry a series beyond 4 books as she has other series the are in double figures but this one ran out of steam or just got to complicated to be precise. I will be hoping for better things for her next book.
The Blurb
Police dog handler Mike Winters and his furry partner Falcon love a good chase. They’ll do anything to protect the streets of Sydney, whether it’s tracking a murderer through the woods or breaking up a bar brawl. It’s all fun and games until the bad guy gets hurt. And then it’s just fun.

Lately though, it seems that violent incidents are on the rise. When Mike and Falcon’s beloved commander is killed in action, Mike is determined to bring the perpetrators to justice, but he has no idea just how deep this malevolent plot runs. A terrorist organisation has devised a plan to attack the city from all sides, and they have taken over a refuelling ship in Sydney Harbour.

Mike and Falcon must use all of their wit and courage to battle the killers, expose police corruption, and, if they’re lucky, save a city from obliteration.
My Review
I wanted to give this book 10 stars as it was beyond good. It not only gripped me from page 1 but it made me smile, laugh and cry. It made you feel as if you were right there with Mike and falcon. It was gritty balls to the wall stuff written in a warts an all way that made it feel real. I now feel like I have had a look at the real life of a K9 officers job. What I loved most about this book is that it felt real, bad stuff happens and the good guys are not often able to stop it happening but when the proverbial poop hits the fan the good guys come through.
This is an opener to a series and this book sets the bar sky high I just hope the author can deliver on the promise this book makes.
The Blurb
Kay Scarpetta is back, consulting forensic pathologist for the FBI's Behavioral Science Unit, in her grittiest and most compelling case yet. In rural North Carolina, the brutal murder of eleven-year-old Emily Steiner has shaken a small town. But more disturbing are the details of the crime, chillingly reminiscent of the handiwork of a serial killer who has eluded the unit for years. Into this volatile atmosphere comes Scarpetta's ingenious, rebellious niece Lucy, an FBI intern with a promising future in Quantico's computer engineering facility --- until she is accused of a shocking security violation. While coming to terms with Lucy, Kay must conduct a grisly forensic investigation at a clandestine research facility in Tennessee known as The Body Farm. There she will find more answers to Emily Steiner's murder --- and evidence that paints a picture of a crime more horrifying than she imagined ..
MyReview
I was a little worried after the end of book 4 as the feel of the books had become very oppressive with all the politicking going on in Kay's office, but the new FBI consulting job has injected a much needed breathe of fresh air. This book has a totally different feel and I can see a the series going on further. I will say that this is a transitional book so it is not so much about the case they are working as the people Kay has in her life. We learn a lot about all of them and most of them are going through life changing events. I have to say I am looking forward to seeing what happens with everyone next.
My Review
I absolutely love this book.....
This is the second time I have read this book and I loved it just as much as the first time. This is a hot story and in places rampant, the language may be found a little course by some but personally I think it suits the tone of the book.

There is a desperate edge to the book that makes you want to read faster. The downside to this being you finish it too soon. As the first book in a massive series it is a cracker and leaves you wanting to know more. Book 2 here I come, again.
The Blurb
After a tragic incident in Afghanistan leaves Master Sergeant Nathan Ryker the only man standing in his tight-knit team, he spirals into an alcohol-and-sex induced escape. A call from his lifelong buddy pulls Ryker from the shadows with a request for help with his stunt company’s latest blockbuster. If Ryker can survive the next three weeks of leave and get back to his remaining men, he might just be all right. But a sexy woman who can take his mind off his trauma is too hard to resist, and when he hooks up with Renegades’ sultry, snarky office manager, his sanity takes a backseat to the first glimpse of a future he isn’t sure he deserves.

Still reeling from a bitter romantic betrayal, Rachel Hart wants nothing more than an uncomplicated hookup. So when the mysterious Nathan seduces her with a little dirty talk and one delicious kiss, Rachel drowns all her good sense in a Mandarin and soda and gives herself over to a night of sexual bliss. But her memories tarnish in the morning light when Rachel discovers his real identity and his link to Renegades. Her job and her friends are the only thing holding her life together, and she won’t be ruined by one sultry night with this damaged and dangerously sexy man.
My Review
I really enjoyed getting to know Reachel and Ryker,I really liked the chemistry between them seeing how it all played out was a ride I thoroughly enjoyed. This is essentially the story of 2 hurt people trying to fix the damage by ignoring it and hoping it will go away. The journey its takes them and us as readers is a rough and at times uncomfortable one but well worth the effort.
Although this is book 3 in the series there is no presumption of familiarity with the history of the characters. So this can be read as a stand alone, although I am going to be reading books 1 & 2 because I am intrigued.
The Blurb
As a reward for a hard-won contract, best friends Drea and Joe head to Buenos Aires for sun, wine, and the tango. But their week of relaxation is off to an ominous start when a reservation mix-up leaves them with only one option: one room…and one bed.

Exhausted from travel, the two friends figure it won’t be a big deal to share a bed for one night—right up until they wake wrapped around each other and seconds away from, well, you know.

When the two decide to follow through on their impulse, they protect their friendship by agreeing that when the vacation’s over, the fling’s over. While Drea’s convinced it’s nothing more than a mutual itch, Joe discovers Drea might be everything he’s ever wanted. Now all he has to do is convince her that what happens in Buenos Aires doesn't always have to stay in Buenos Aires
My Review
This was a short, but fun read. I liked the dynamic between D and Joe and I enjoyed watching it change into something permanent. The greedy reader in me would have liked this to be longer but in reality it was perfect as a quick smoking hot romance fix, and at under 100 pages it was a quick fix and an easy read. There is nothing particularly challenging or new in this story its a basic friends/co-workers to lovers story. There nice believable people in a believable situation. I enjoyed it and that's all I can ask of such a short book.
The Blurb
Pickup man Bridge Sullivan is the kind of cowboy everyone wants—as a brother, a friend, a lover. People think he’s straight, but Bridge isn’t one for labels, and when a sexy male paramedic jump-starts his heart, he charges in with all guns blazing.

New York City transplant Eric Palmer grew up in foster care. While he always had a roof over his head, he never felt love or a sense of belonging . . . until he joined the California rodeo circuit as a paramedic and found a band of brothers who took him in as one of their own. Now, one in particular is making Eric’s pulse race.

When things heat up between Bridge and Eric, Bridge has to prove to Eric he’s not just experimenting with the rougher sex, while Eric must overcome his fears of being unwanted and cast aside. He knows that trusting Bridge may be the key to his happy ever after, but getting in the saddle is much, much easier than learning to let it ride.

My Review
This could not be anything but a hit with me. It has 2 of my favourite things in it gay romance and cowboy's. This is essentially Eric's story its about him learning his own self worth and the meaning of unconditional love. It is both beautiful and heart wrenching. I did spend a lot of the book wanting to slap Eric upside his head and never more so when the inevitable happened. That being said I really did enjoy this book and want to read more in this series. Oh I also need to say that I have not read book 1 but that didn't matter there is enough history given that you don't miss any subtle nuances. So all in all a damn fine read.
The Blurb
Selena Kitt’s *Power Play*—where those uber-hot alpha authority figures take full advantage of their status to strike up all sorts of sexy naughtiness with their subordinates!

Kelsey and the Executive: Kelsey never dreamed her first job out of college with her bachelor’s degree in hand would be as a secretary. Still, she’s grateful to have any job at all, with the economy at a standstill, and she consoles herself that she is, after all, an “executive” secretary to one of the most powerful men in the country. Oliver Pierce turns out to be a harsh taskmaster, and while her friends wonder how Kelsey got the job at all, with such a thin resume, Kelsey doesn’t have to wonder. It becomes quite clear very quickly that her lack of experience is exactly what Oliver Pierce was looking for, and she finds herself utterly seduced, happy to be his perfect blank slate, ready to be shaped and molded and made completely his.

Katie and the Dom: Katie has a secret wish—she wants to be a submissive. She dreams of being a man’s sex slave—forced, bound, gagged, taken and used for a man’s pleasure. But single, sedate, librarian Katie doesn’t run in those circles and has no idea how to make that happen, until she sees an ad on Craigslist. Her friend, Lori, tells her it’s too dangerous, and she’s right. Her first Dom, Patrick, is woefully inexperienced, but thankfully, Liam interrupts his little brother’s attempts. And that’s when Katie locks eyes with the most dangerous man she’ll ever meet. Liam is a true Dom, and he wants Katie, perhaps even more than she wants him.

Emily and the Priest: Her first year away from home at Catholic college has been a disaster for shy, awkward Emily, falling in with the wrong crowd, just trying to fit in with the other girls. When Father Mark, the campus psychologist, takes her under his wing, she’s more than grateful, and under his tutelage, Emily blossoms into ripe, luscious fruit, just ready to be plucked. By the time Father Mark realizes his mistake, it’s too late—Emily has fallen for him, and he for her. God help them both.

Ivy and the Cop: Ivy’s car has broken down in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere on the way back from a summer babysitting job, her cell phone forgotten on her dresser at home, and she’s never been so grateful to see flashing lights in her rearview mirror. The rugged, gorgeous cop who comes to her rescue is sympathetic, inviting Ivy into the front seat of his cruiser where he intends to call for a tow-truck. But before he can get that far, their incessant flirting leads to Ivy’s confession that she’s always had a thing for cops, and officer Paxton declares himself off-duty—so he can play out Ivy’s fantasy with her over the hood of the police cruiser.

Bailey and the Professor: Bailey’s graduate science classes are much harder than she expected them to be, and strict, young Professor Jacobs, in particular, seems out to get her, finding minute mistakes in her work, making her re-do assignments she’s already meticulously completed. When he forces her to start staying late in the lab, Bailey complains to her roommate that she’s about ready to quit school altogether, but what she doesn’t know is that her stern professor has a carnal lesson he’s waiting to teach her. Bailey is about to discover that she and Professor Jacobs share a great deal of “chemistry” together!

Jodie and the Billionaire: A trip to Vegas for her best friend’s bachelorette party is the perfect break from her high stress job, and it serves to be lucky for Jodie, when handsome millionaire Dorian Cole asks her to roll dice for him at the craps table. Always lucky with dice, Jodie wins him two-hundred-thousand dollars. Grateful, Dorian offers to tip her, but Jodie refuses, ready to go off with her friends to a night on the town. And that’s when Jodie gets a real life indecent proposal—an invitation to be the billionaire’s “date” for the weekend. Looking into the man’s darkly seductive eyes—how could she possibly say no?

Donnie and the Maid: Divorced Donnie hasn’t had it easy since his wife abandoned him for a six-figure income with the richest man in the county, taking their daughter with her. He knows he’s a bit of a daydreamer—a writer, a poet—who just can’t be bothered with real world things like preparing meals or cleaning toilets. When his twelve-year-old daughter complains that Dad’s house is “grody” and tells him, “Mom keeps threatening to call social services,” Donnie breaks down and hires a housekeeper. Sexy little Elena is a godsend, in more ways than one, descending on his house with a feather duster and a skirt so short it takes his breath away. And while Donnie struggles to keep his lust—and his growing feelings—in check, Elena finally makes it clear that he’s more than welcome to service the new maid!

Warning: This title contains hot, steamy nobody-writes-it-like-Selena-Kitt sex between alpha authority figures and their subordinates!

My Review
I am not normally a fan of short stories but these are bit sized pieces of naughtiness all wrapped up in velvet just waiting to be devoured and I did just that. These were hot and heavy and all of them where off the charts hot. Selena Kitt is a skilled writer that draws you in and gets you hooked from the very first paragraph and holds you captive to the very last word. I am gonna be honest and say I will be happy to be her hostage any time again in the future!
The Blurb
Puppy Love is the story of Matt and Petey. Not only do they identify as a Dominant-submissive gay couple, but they also defy many of the stereotypes of this type of relationship. They rarely dress in leather; they don't hang out at sex clubs, and they have little interest in many of the heavy BDSM sexual practices. There is no denying, however, that Matt is the Master and Petey is his pup. Reawakening, book three of the Puppy Love Trilogy, is the much-awaited conclusion to Matt and Petey's story. After the tragedies of book two, more agony and ecstasy await Matt and Petey-a shooting, an unexpected pregnancy, a big gay wedding, and tons of passionate, kinky sex scenes. Will they find their happily-ever-after ending together, or will Petey's reawakened independence lead him down another path entirely?
My Review
This was a bit of a love fest, annoyingly so at times, but I am glad I read it. Don't get me wrong there were some smoking hot scenes but they didn't have the edge the first two books had. Nothing about this was challenging and I missed that. It made this book almost vanilla. but it was a sweet end to the trilogy though even if my teeth do ache a bit.
The Blurb
Lindsay Sterling's niece has gone missing in the New York underground and the cops do nothing except pass along a name. Jack Cole. Twenty years ago they were good buddies but horrors have changed them both. Lindsay lost her entire family except for her niece in a car accident, and Jack was held captive in New York's underbelly for nearly two years by demented sub-humans. It was a soul-sucking experience that's left him a shell of a man. He refuses to descend into that hell again, especially for a girl who's probably dead anyway. But when Lindsay is nearly killed there after going it alone, Jack feels compelled to save her skin. Jack navigates Lindsay through a strange territory, populated with the eccentric, the insane and the desperate. Each encounter takes them closer to Lindsay's niece but also closer into the clutches of the mad creatures that will enslave them
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the premise of a whole different world just below our feet. The story it's self was tight and well thought out with an interesting cast of characters. There was a good mix of romance, horror and suspense to keep me on the edge of my seat and I did not see the twist coming. And I have to say I got some very funny looks when I started shouting obscenities at my E-reader. This is the start of a series and I will be very interested to see where it will go.
The Blurb
Memory is everything.

After an injury in the ring, amateur boxer Leith Wenz wakes to discover his most recent memories are three years out of date. Unmoored and struggling to face his new reality, Leith must cope anew with painful revelations about his family. His brother is there to support him, but it’s the unfamiliar face of Zach, a man introduced as his best friend, that provides the calm he craves. Until Zach’s presence begins to stir up feelings Leith can’t explain.

For Zach, being forgotten by his lover is excruciating. He carefully hides the truth from Leith to protect them both from additional pain. His bottled-up turmoil finds release through vlogging, where he confesses his fears and grief to the faceless Internet. But after Leith begins to open up to him, Zach's choices may come back to haunt him.

Ultimately, Leith must ask his heart the questions memory can no longer answer.

Wow... What can I say about this book...Well it resonated with me as I have had a brain injury (a stroke 18 month ago)and although my memory was mostly unaffected I still identified with much of what both Leith and Zach went through. I spent much of this book on the verge of tears and in floods of tears by the end, this story was beautifully told and touched me deeply. It will stay with me for a long time it treated the subject matter with honesty and dignity while still delivering a believable love story. All in all a damn fine read!!
Sexy police officer Seth Jones takes her into witness protection together with her online lover, Adrian Walsh, a man with crucial evidence for a court case. Lily is wildly empowered by living her innermost desires in the safety of the hideaway. Adrian is the key that unlocks her sexuality, and Seth is the master who sets them both free. I loved this, it was hot sexy and I could not put it down. I loved that it was set in the UK my home country. At times this was so hot it was combustible but we still got really good believable characters. I liked the ending that I am not going to give away. I felt satisfied when I got to the last page all I needed was a cuppa and a ciggy, well I got the cuppa ;-).
The Blurb
As one of the youngest Bonifays, Rebecca suffered the most when her parents died, but with the strength of her close-knit Texas family behind her, she came through it and now helps run the Bonifay ranch and her own horse rescue operation. She’s also matured into a sexy and beautiful woman with an itch that needs scratching. Setting her sights on Jesse English, the dark cowboy who’s recuperating at the ranch, Rebecca decides it’s time to stop letting her older siblings call the shots and start taking charge of her own desires.

Jesse is a drifter through and through. Orphaned at a young age, he’s seen the worst of state care and foster homes, and he knows better than to put down roots in any one place for long. Scarred by his drug-addled father, he knows he’s not good-looking enough for a woman like Rebecca, and with nothing to offer her, he just wants to get healthy at the ranch and move on before he gets hurt again.

As Jesse begins to heal and Rebecca makes it more than clear that she wants the moody and ruggedly handsome cowboy to be her first, he has to fight every impulse he has as a man to keep her at a distance. But there’s no denying the headstrong beauty or the raging passion building between them, and as the two struggle with their conflicting needs they discover a stronger connection that just might give them both the chance to mend their damaged hearts.
The Blurb
Knowing all too well the damage online trolls can inflict, game designer Emily Bartwell takes privacy seriously. Living in solitude and working remotely under a male alias gives her a sense of security. The sexy writer renting the house next door ignites desires she’d forgotten she had, and when he invites her to play games of a very different sort, Em is ready and willing. Even if it means breaking all her own rules to abide by his.

Undercover tech reporter Fox Mullins is so close to the biggest scoop of his career: finding the elusive programmer Phoenix. An increasingly erotic adventure with his reserved but passionate new neighbor is the ideal way to heat up the chilly Pacific Northwest nights as he tracks the brilliant gamer.

At first Fox is happy to help Em explore her newly awakened kinky side, no holds barred, no strings attached. But as they push the limits of intimacy, both physical and emotional, Fox discovers he’s not the only one keeping secrets. And revealing hers may mean betraying the one woman who embodies everything he desires.
It’s supposed to be a quick wedding hook-up. She’s lonely. He’s available. After seeing Rio Donovan and Gia Jackson down the aisle, the sizzling sexual chemistry between Mimi Hart and Mack Johnson has this pair burning up the sheets in a night of no-holds fantasies. One night. No regrets. And no promises. As the resident bad girl and bartender of Strong, California, Mimi has earned every inch of her reputation. Tattoos, motorcycles and dancing on the bar—Mimi’s all in. She’s fun and she’s tough, a hot sex-on-the-pool-table woman—not a sunset-and-kisses sweetheart. Until her wedding hook-up turns her smoke jumper into a man on a sensual mission… and her heart into freefall even as her own past threatens to catch up with her.
I took a long time to get into this book mainly because I didn't like Mimi. Once I persevered I found the story drew me in and I found myself carried away by it. I think I may have found it easier to get into had I read the other books in the series. However the story was exciting and thrilling and I loved that it Mack trying to change Mimi's stance on relationships. I think will be reading the other books in this series and then may re-read this one just to see if it does make a difference.
He can find a use for his lover’s hands…except when he needs help the most.

Kellen is short on cash—at least until his first novel starts to sell—but he has plenty of friends. None of them, unfortunately, share his love of books. For that he turns to IM chats with Mike from his online book group.

Though he manages to coax the shy, socially inept pathologist into a real-time meeting, Kellen has no intention of letting his new friend become more than a casual lover. Shaky finances and ailing mother aside, self-sufficiency is Kellen’s prime directive.

Mike considers himself a nerd of the highest order—short, bespectacled, prone to blurting out the wrong thing at the worst possible time. Meeting Kellen face to face is the biggest risk of his life, and he wonders if they’ll get more body parts together than just their faces.

First meeting leads to first date—first everything for Mike—and soon Kellen’s faced with breaking his just-friends-with-benefits rule. Yet as his elderly mother wanders deeper into senility, Kellen wonders if it’s better to lean on Mike rather than fall.
My Review.
I really enjoy this author as she writes emotional masterpieces. This was as good as her other works but there was not heat for me, it was a bit of a long slog but it fit the tenner of the book which is why I kept reading.
BEG FOR MERCY

Megan Flynn thought she was falling in love. Cole Williams wasn't just handsome and passionate, he was one of the good guys. Or so she thought, until he arrested her brother-the only family she has left-for a murder she knows he couldn't have possibly committed. Now, with her heart broken and her brother's life hanging in the balance, Megan will risk everything to prove his innocence. Even if that means throwing herself into the path of a sadistic killer with a hauntingly familiar MO.

Seattle Detective Cole Williams had given up on making Megan see reason where her brother is concerned. But when she insinuates herself into the most shockingly brutal case Cole has ever worked, he can't stand idly by. Plunged into a secret world where the city's elite indulge their darkest desires, Cole will do whatever it takes to bring down a madman who has made Megan his most coveted prey.
Wow well WOW this book is just WOW.. not only did it scare the poop out of me it had me desperate to know what was going to happen. This author not only shows you the good guys but the bad guys too and that is where the heart stopping quality of this book shines through. Now I guessed who the perp was about half way through but the book is so good you want to know all the why's and hows you don't care that you know the who it really doesn't hurt the story any if anything it makes it better because you want to shout at the characters to not trust the perp when the good guys are being taken in by him. This is the first in a trilogy I think and I am a little worried that book 2 wont live up to the high bar this one set but even if the book is only half as good it will still be a thrilling read!
Black Knights Inc.--Behind the facade of their tricked-out motorcycle shop is an elite special ops team assigned the jobs too hot for anyone else to handle.

Hold On Tight...

Ex-Marine Nate "Ghost" Weller is an expert at keeping his cool--and his distance--which makes him one hell of a sniper. It's also how he keeps his feelings for Ali Morgan in check. Sweet, sexy Ali has always revved his engine, but she's his best friend's baby sister...and totally off limits.

Rough Road Ahead

Ali's never seen anything sexier than Nate Weller straddling his custom Harley--or the flash of danger in his eyes when she tells him she's in trouble. First something happened to her brother, and now she's become the target of a nasty international organization. With Nate, her life is in the most capable hands possible--but her heart is another story altogether.
This was a fantastic book I loved the people we were introduced to and loved the suspense element it didn't over shadow the story nor did the romance it was hot with out being salacious. There are some real laugh out loud moments it is the humour the really makes this book because it makes it feel real you can see your self saying for thinking the same thing it bring a lightness to the story that gives it a unique feel, it makes the characters feel like friends you go yo visit and they are friends I will visit often.
