This is the summary off the back of the book.
Of all the bars in all the towns in all the world, the stranger walks into Brody Tyler’s. With no memory and a name he chose from a newspaper, Nash is a gamble—one Brody is willing to take. It isn’t long before Brody and Nash fall in love, but then a tragic accident shatters their cozy world, resetting Nash’s memory once again.
The “new” Nash Walker is a businessman with a bottom line, and he doesn’t care what or who gets stomped on. Waking up in a hospital bed after a hit-and-run with no idea where he’s been for the past six months is bad enough, but someone trying to kill him is even worse. Enter Brody Tyler, accidental bodyguard.
Brody’s determined to help Nash remember and bring back the man he loves. Nash thinks Brody’s a drop-dead gorgeous pain in the ass. If only he could remember….
This is what I think of the book.
This was a straight up laugh out loud and cry in the corner damn good read.
I loved Brody and Nash together, even though they were sickly sweet, and the supporting cast were just as liable. The reason the first half of the book worked so well is because the change in Nash was so extreme but believable. I spend nearly all the second half of the book wanting to slap Nash and Brody silly. I felt invested in the whole tale.
This was a very sweet tale of self discovery that had a little bit of suspense thrown in for good measure. The fact we knew who the bad guy was before anyone else only added to the threat and made it feel more believable. Ms Worrall gave my characters I could love and hate at the same time and I am looking forward to reading more form this very talented writer.
My rating: I LOVED this!!
