As heir to an old and proud heritage, Aubrey Reynolds works and lives for his family, his employees and his pack. Agreeing to watch after a visiting werewolf is no big deal—until he discovers the newcomer is his mate. His very male mate…which is a very big deal, indeed. Revealing his sexuality was never part of Aubrey’s well-ordered life plan.

Much as he loved caring for his eight younger brothers, Matt Mahihkan knows it’s time to grab the opportunity to attend college in Atlanta. Realizing Aubrey is his mate should have been a delightful experience…except Aubrey treats him more like a dirty little secret than a lover. Yet Matt is a patient man. Aubrey can’t stay in the closet forever. Can he?

My review

This hot little number had me hook right from the off. We didn't get to see a good side to Aubrey when he appeared in book 1 of this series so it was nice to get to know him in this one.
Matt was like an excited puppy in the other books so it was good to see a more mature side to him too. This book is about appearances and how it can be deceiving. Both of them are trying to keep their families together, Aubrey thinks he can only live one way so is trying to live up to that and Matt is trying to stop his siblings being hurt by his volatile home life. I didn't guess who was causing all the trouble, which was nice and made the reveal a shock. I will be keeping my eyes open for the next book in this sexy little series and hope I am not kept waiting too long for the next one!!
