Sponsored post: Can poker make me money?

Is poker the answer to my problem??

OK so I have been thinking about ways I can make a small amount of money so I can afford the p&p for the international give-aways. Now I only need to make around £15 per month to break even so I don't need to do anything drastic. So there I was reading my kindle while watching late night TV and I look up and Poker is on and I think could I make money playing poker??

So I have a look at the Poker sites and download the software and hey presto I am connected to hundreds of people playing poker and the best bit is that you don’t actually have to put in any money you can play for free. So I play a few hands... OK a lot of hands and I realise well actually no I couldn't make money playing poker because, although I love playing, I am not very good so the adage speculate to accumulate just doesn't work for me but I did have a lot of fun. I sat there with my heart in my mouth as the cards are revealed and I start to think I might have a shot at winning, my heart rate is up and I win a hand and I feel like I have won the world....

I am still looking for ways to earn a little money but I have also discovered a new hobby in poker that is free to play if you want but if you want a little extra rush play with real money, the kick you get is something else. Loosing is a bummer but I only put a small amount of money in my account but the experience was worth it. I think it would be too easy for me to loose large amounts of money so I will stick to playing with play money (free credit) and who knows maybe I will win big!!

  1. While this is not something I would do, I know some people take it up as a hobby. Best of wishes.
